1677-78 में शिवाजी का ध्यान कर्नाटक की ओर गया। बम्बई के दक्षिण में कोंकण, तुंगभद्रा नदी के पश्चिम में बेळगांव तथा धारवाड़ का क्षेत्र, मैसूर, वैलारी, त्रिचूर तथा जिंजी पर अधिकार करने के बाद 3 अप्रैल, 1680 को शिवाजी का देहान्त हो गया। जहर देने के कारण छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज की मृत्यु हुई थी।

मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स की मानें तो ऋतिक रोशन, जूनियर एनटीआर अभिनीत यह फिल्म 14 अगस्त 2024 में रिलीज हो सकती है। इस खबर के सामने आने के बाद सोशल मीडिया पर लगातार ‘वॉर 2’ की चर्चा हो रही है। निर्माताओं ने जब से जूनियर एनटीआर के जुड़ने की खबर पर पक्की मुहर लगाई है, तब से फैंस इन दोनों सुपरस्टार्स को एक साथ स्क्रीन स्पेस साझा करते हुए देखने के लिए और ज्यादा उत्साहित हैं। बता दें कि ऋतिक रोशन की ‘वॉर’ साल 2019 में रिलीज हुई थी। इस फिल्म में उनके अलावा टाइगर श्रॉफ ने भी अहम भूमिका निभाई थी।
